On Tuesday, Blue Lake Rancheria participated in the California Energy Commission’s Tribal Clean Energy Summit. Heidi Moore-Guynup, Director of Tribal and Government Affairs offered perspectives centered on microgrid innovations, clean energy workforce development and highlighted the Tribal Energy Resilience and Sovereignty (TERAS) project project during a panel moderated by Jana Ganion. Efforts are underway to secure funding to ensure the project is able to move forward in a manner that supports BLR, Hoopa, Yurok and Karuk Tribes as well as our partners, Schatz Energy Research Center and Redwood Coast Energy Authority. Honored to represent state-of-the-art technology that will ensure energy resilience and Tribal Sovereignty.
